How fast can you get here?
In the Treasure Valley, usually within a couple of hours, faster inside Meridian. In a regional storm we triage — active leaks into living space first, open decking second, missing shingles with no leak last — and we tell you honestly where you are in the line.
Will insurance cover the emergency tarp?
Almost always, as mitigation, if the underlying damage is a covered loss. Idaho policies require you to prevent further damage after a loss, so a tarp isn't just covered, it's expected. We photograph and invoice it separately so it's clear.
Can I put a tarp on myself?
You can, but please don't at night, in the wind, or on a two-story roof. More people are hurt on ladders after storms than by the storms. If you have a leak and can't wait, put a bucket under it, move the furniture, and call — we're cheaper than an ER.
What if my roof is covered in snow?
We roof-rake or steam a path, find the leak, and dry it in. If the leak is an ice dam, the emergency fix is a channel through the dam so the water drains; the permanent fix is usually ventilation and an ice barrier, not a new roof.
Is emergency service more expensive?
Our after-hours rates are the same as daytime; the only extra is the tarp material. And the emergency visit is credited toward the permanent repair if we do it.
